Description
The Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge in Dallas TX is fascinating and beautiful structure. The lines are so flowing and graceful from whatever angle to look at it. The Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge is one of three Santiago Calatrava-designed bridges being built over the Trinity River in Dallas, Texas as part of the Trinity River Project. The bridge was completed and open to traffic in early 2012 and instantly became a landmark in the cityscape of Dallas. The bridge was named after Margaret Hunt Hill, an American heiress and philanthropist with close ties to many a great many charitable and philantropic organizations in Dallas TX. FUN FACT: Her father was H.L Hunt Jr, whose personal life, which featured many children by three wives, was among the chief inspirations for the television series Dallas. The character J.R. Ewing was largely based on popular perceptions of Hunt.
