Mark Twain's Town
Photograph - Photograph
( Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved ) Once upon a time, a young boy named Samuel Clemens grew up in a small town named Hannibal on the banks of the great Mississippi River. He later became a riverboat captain and a great American author known all over the world. Hannibal is still there and it is still a small and colorful town. Although Samuel changed his name to a term frequently used on the riverboats which meant " Safe Waters", his memory is alive and well in ... Mark Twain's Town.
