Description:

'Mask' is a colorized version of the pen and ink version of 'Masque' also available in my portfolio.

In the colorized version I wanted to give this first mask a more natural look in what would be the facial areas. Other areas are given mountainous vegetative colors, with a small flower bed to the right.

Other colorations might be attempted in the future such as you see in the two versions of 'The Fertility Goddess' (gold and lapis lazuli).

This work is a watercolor on 90 pound cold press paper.
