THERE IS A REAL STORY ABOUT THIS DESIGN. I WAS INSPIRED BY A VIEW SEEN AT SUNSET IN WESTERN NEW MEXICO. IT WAS THE CONVERGENCE OF TWO MESAS WITH CANYON LEADING FROM THEM INTO A BEAUTIFUL VALLEY. MANY OF THE COLORS THAT I SAW WERE ALSO IN THESE TURQUOISE. I KNEW THAT THIS HAD TO BE REPRESENTED BY A JEWELRY PIECE. I HAD PURCHASED SEVERAL JEWELRY ITEMS AT THE TRADING POST AT WINDOW ROCK, AZ WHICH IS THE TRIBAL HEADQUARTERS OF THE NAVAJO INDIAN TRIBE. HAL SHARPE
