Description
My latest painting and back to my old style of more detailed work which I think suits this subject. This entrance to a property in my village, Las Negras, epitomises the Mediterranean. The sun-blistered blue door, the sharp shapes and shadows formed by the cactus and the palm tree against the intense blue sky combine to form a composition which is very typical of where I live.
Winner of Artist of the Month contest May 2016.
The original watercolour has been sold to a collector in China.
