Description:
Mediterranean Spearfish, part of the Living Waters Series; Rare, but wide spread fish that is found in tropical and sub-tropical oceans. Looks very similar to the Marlin family. Carved free hand without patterns used, making it unique piece of artwork. Painted in watercolors/metal acrylics so the natural beauty of the knots and wood grain can be seen through the colors. Sealed in 6 coats of a high grade marine varnish that will protect the colors against damage from light. This fish measures 40 inches in length, is 17 inches wide and has a glass blue fish eye. There is a wire hanger also on the back for easy hanging. Comes signed, dated, numbered along with its name by wood burning on the backside. Please remember that due to the size, shipping will be higher then a normal sized fish.
