The memorial clock Jelena - An open hands Queen is dedicated to Montenegrin princess and the last Italian Queen Jelena Petrovi� Njego� (Elena di Savoia) (1872-1952). For her humanitarian actions she received the English, German, Spanish, Russian and Serbian Medals of Honour. Pope Pius XI presented her with the Golden rose for humanitarian work. She said to her children: “If you don’t like your toy, it cannot be good enough for poor children either. That is exactly why, since they have less than others, poor children must get beautiful things”. Made of laminated acacia; fine cutout brass plate designed by the interpretation of embroidery of traditional Montenegro folk costumes; winding clock mechanism Hermle; clock hands type Breguet of blue gold.
