Description:

"Anything with hydrangeas will sell," my first client told me. He was right. I have sold countless versions of arrangements of many-colored hydrangeas. A client's sister who had cancer commissioned six large pieces for her NY apartment. She swore the flowers had power over the disease. I make the pictures because I think they are beautiful, the shades of color are unlimited. I planted two small bushes in our new yard this Spring. One is sprightly and well, the other needs help. I used a brush to spatter tiny dots of color on the background of this one.
