Great space, tone, use of perspective - now where exactly did this alien craft land, and did the life forms make any demands when they met our leaders (although if they met the local Chicago leaders, maybe they had some deal in mind!)?

Russell Styles replied:

Thanks Steve...It was my first visit to Chicago and I almost didn't make it down into city from the airport because of the snow....I'm glad I did cos when I got to Millenium Park, I practically had the whole place to myself...

Top job Russ - I like the moody, surreal look you've created.

Russell, I am sure many have photographed this, but your take on The Bean shows what an excellent photographer and eye you have. v/f

Excellent!! When were you here?

i agree with joe, this is a really fresh look at the cloudgate bean. good work

Great ethereal quality to this Rus.

nice work.. Your post processing creates a sort of mysterious, painterly look. That makes for an eye catching image. Peace, Sven

Is this cool or what? Russ, this is the most original photo of "The Bean" I've seen to date, and I've taken and seen a lot of them. Snow on The Bean. Who'd a thought? f/v. -- Joe.
