Canaan, this means so much to me since you don't know the story behind it. Another artist saw my photograph and insisted I paint it. I really didn't want to paint him but he insisted it would jump start my career. I did it, he hated it and said do it again, this is the results. It took harsh critisism but I got it right I think. And your high praise validates it. I can't tell you what that means to me my friend...

I think you have a special knack for painting water (not to mention animals and birds), The way you painted the fethers, turqupise and blue indigo made me imagine yourself painting the reflexes in the satin and silk gowns of beautiful majestic women like those in Tizian and Rafael paintings... fav. and v.
