Milwaukee Art Museum - Calatrava

The Milwaukee Art Museum photographed on a beautiful spring day....
The graceful Quadracci Pavilion is a sculptural, postmodern addition designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. Highlights of the building are the magnificent cathedral-like space of Windhover Hall, with a vaulted a 90-foot-high glass ceiling; the Burke Brise Soleil, a moveable sunscreen with a 217-foot wingspan that unfolds and folds twice daily; and the Reiman Bridge, a pedestrian suspension bridge that connects the Museum to the city.
I have had an interest in photography since I was very young and have rediscovered my love of the art form of creative photographic composition. There is so much beauty and natural art in the world around us and I enjoy trying to capture as much of it as I can. I draw freely from my imagination, and pay great attention to details in the environment around me. I am open to all types of photography and all types of subjects, and I am hoping that my photographs project that, and can be enjoyed by people for many years to come. Expect the unexpected!
