Miracles Of Thomas Becket
Canterbury Cathedral, in addition to being one of the oldest in England, became one of the top 3 pilgrim sites when Archbishop Thomas Becket was murdered in the cathedral in 1170. He became sainted after his death when pilgrims would experience healing miracles after praying at his shrine. The stained glass surrounding the place where Becket's shrine was depict all the miracles he is credited with.
