Molson Ghost Town Stove - Washington
It's bitter cold in winter in Okanogan County in the mountains about a mile from the Canadian Border. This Majestic stove was an absolute necessity to a Molson Town family. It cooked food and provided heat for the home and hot water for baths. Without one, a pioneer family could not survive. This one appears to have been heavily depended upon.
Molson is a functional ghost town today with a few hardy inhabitants. In its day back in the 1880's, it was a booming mining town with all the problems that come with that.
