Description:

This is the boxer Floyd Mayweather painted in the French fauve style. Fauve means wild beast and it was a period of painting right after the more sentimental style of impressionism. I studied Fauve art in France and find painting boxers in this style gives them more 'punch.' Mayweather has been a well known boxer for a while. Last year he was on Dancing with the Stars on TV. Quite a change from boxing. He danced well but did not win! He's an attractive man.
