Painting - Oil On Canvas
This painting was inspired by a family vacation to Yellowstone National Park. There is so much variety in the landscape, that I have still not run out of references. Forests, meadows, rivers, creeks, a lake, and hundreds of animals are all part of this beautiful natural resource, not to mention the geysers. We spent a week and I have longed to go back and stay for a month. I envied folks who worked at the park and dreamed that some day I might be one of them. This painting was originally created on a 9x12 inch canvas with oil paints.
