Unsure whether this feature is officially called "Monument Valley" or not, but between the Navajo guide and me, that's what we called it, as it so closely resembles one of the sister mittens at the "real" Monument Valley.

Antelope Canyon is a must-see for every photographer, but when you go, be forewarned that there are thousands of visitors to this short slot canyon every day, making each shot a difficult task -- due to the fact that I setup my *nice* camera nestled on a fancy tripod, I attracted a lot of attention. I reckon others figured I knew what I was doing, so it gives you a little pressure to hustle and capture your shot, and move on.

Notwithstanding the number of people in the canyon, lucky for me the guide wandered off with the rest of the group, leaving me in complete solitude for this shot. I took my time, looking for the best light, wandering my view back and forth across the viewfinder. It was serenity, peaceful, then took a moment and.... click.
