OOPS! Just read your little blurb, and I guess I need to retract my comment. This was a very successful double exposure, something that obviously from my own experience is very difficult to do! Nice exposure, always good to have a tripod around (hope I am right about that, at least!). Sorry about my previous comment!

Sorry for this late reply, Steve. No worries, its hard to tell what's what these days and so I've made many an incorrect guess as well. Yes, much easier these days in the technicals, but you are right about it being a pain in the arse to get things just right on film, which is why it was all the more rewarding when things turned out right under the loupe!

This is quite a nice composition, the colors are wonderful, it is an excellent effect - I assume you photoshopped in the moon? You miss double exposing with film? How can you miss double exposing with film! You never knew what you had, you always ran the risk of washing out the shot, and you couldn't save the shot at one point and experiment with different variations! One thing about this digital world of ours is that manipulation of pics is much easier, although probably too easy! Anyway, you got this one perfectly right!

Wow! I hadn't seen this one before Gary. It is stunning. I love the ruddy color with the bridge steel. And those reflections and moon... It's got it all!

Gary Heller replied:

Thanks for the comments, Julie. I miss double exposing with film...
