Another lovely piece. What part of this is acrylic? And why do you use canvas? (I understand most pastel is on paper.)

Hello David! Most of the acrylic forms the under painting so you will not see it much but it helps provide detail and depth.Pastel papers would not be appropriate for watery paint.Canvas works well and also provides a very good texture to hold pastel.Thanks very much for your comment on this.

In the movie "What Dreams May Come", Robin Williams dies and finds that his version of the afterlife is in a painted world that starts out as one of his wife's paintings. I thought that was so cool. And the more I see your work, the more I wish I could live in the painted and pastel world you've created. It's just so beautiful there! All lovely colors and peaceful, harmonious scenery.
