Title

Morning In The Village

Artist

Andrey Soldatenko

Medium

Painting - Oil On Canvas

Description

In 2009, I arrived to the plein-air at the foothills of the Balkans,
in Bulgaria. I enjoyed the light air of freedom-loving Balkans,
delicate colours, the sun, which was very nice and warm. In my
paintings I wanted to reflect not only what I saw, but what I sensed.
I wanted to communicate the touch of the air I had just enjoyed
myself. I set a task for myself: to transfer all the perfection of
the moment, so that my audience could also sense and enjoy it. In
order to implement this task I resorted to the realistic tradition.
