I also enjoy this painting especially, and, as Hans says, relaxed is a good word for it. I love the orangey color of the antlers, and the spaces between the trees. I like the contrast of the antlers with the soft blue-green-grey of the background, and you've captured the blocky look of a moose's body, more horselike than cowlike (especially if you first think of Holstein cows, as I do).
