This panel won First Place in the Fine Art America Contest: Ice Monks in November, 1st Place Winner in CAVES Contest administrated by Prakash Sree S N, Port Blair of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, India for Fine Art America 2/21/2012
It is now submitted to the First Place Winners Group on Fine Art America.
This is one panel in the mural titled Changes of the Seasons, This panel will do a foreground-background visual flop upon staring at it and closer observation.
The Mural is titled Changes of the Seasons.
Changes of the Seasons is a mural painting in progress. It presently consists of seventeen 4 x 3 canvassed panels that join together to create an elongated picture image. Each panel is intended to stand alone a pictorial image, as well as being an integral part of the entire mural. The mural will make full circle so that there would be no beginning and no end to the image. This is one panel from the work in progress.
The mural is shown all together on these two web links, in case you would like to see it. I would like to get it permanently installed somewhere. I have shown it twice in shows, but now it needs a home. This has got to be a favorite with this dramatic lighting, vertical versus horizontal concept. So much mystery and atmosphere here. F/L.
Nancy Griswold replied:
Randy, thank you so much, I made a clay sculpture on a mirror for resource, wondering if you saw the windows are eyes, the more you look the more you will see things. Thank you ever so much for viewing the mural, it means a lot to me.
