Well, I have to immediately love this gentle dog....and what a shot this is. Just beautifully done in all ways, including the concept, composition, the subtle colors of winter, the fact that it's snowing. Beautiful work. Instant v/f

I was so lucky to get this shot. The moment lasted for only a few minutes and I just happened to have the camera handy. The picture so describes our dog, Murphy. He is the most gentle of dogs I have ever known but (full disclosure) you might notice he's wearing a collar to keep him in the yard but I don't think it would have made any difference. He's just that way. I have had him with me fishing a lot and have run into moose and he just quietly watches them too.
