Glad you liked it..thank you.

Thanks Sandra..it was a stake out, I used fresh McDonald's french fries to lure one in.

I love this Joe! The way you composed it and effects you used, perfect! I like your work and I'll be following you too!

Thank you Amy

Very cool imagery, Jake. #13 is a lucky number for me. ;) v

What a nice compliment. Thank you very much.

Jake, this is very creative and funny, and beautifully composed with the bird in silhouette and the uncluttered backdrop. Suoerb work! f/v

Thank you Sara fo the Feature

Thanks Ethna

Thanks for including me in Nature Photography Robert.

They gnawed the fiddle too.

Nooooooo don't tell me that! Unless the Grackle then ate the ants as an act of retribution! There must be balance in the universe after all. ;)

Jake, I see where your wife hacked your FAA account and commented for you. Then I read your bio ... by each of you ... (funny, I also had a thing for the ant and grasshopper story...) I see you are both delightfully humorous and have fun with life (ok you are both twisted ;-) I'm with you on making our own country!

Joe Jake Pratt replied:

Hi Meghan....many thanks and I'm so glad you are a kindred spirit. The ants ate the grasshopper.

Ok, got a great giggle out of this and your story is wonderful. I also like how you got rid of the parking lot... a ruin of quite a few of my images! v

Dear Mihyoun and Karin, i am responding on behalf of Jake. I am his wife. The last time I saw him, a crow was carrying him in his beak towards the setting sun. Life can be full of wonderful surprises to be thankful for. I shouldn't have put bread crumbs around him while he was asleep. In fact I shouldn't have left the window open, or used our son's crow call.

Fabulous capture and title!!! v/f

I smile as I look at this... Wonderful capture, presentation and processing. vf

Joe Jake Pratt replied:

I thank you Mary. Just finished boiling a pot of garden snails for my prop collection and next shoot. Maybe my wife is right?

Thanks Chris

Excellent story behind this image...love it. Great image, so glad you got your shot! f/v
