This was the result of throwing salt down on an acrylic wash on paper. After the paint is dry, you then rub off the salt. In the center an image appeared after I removed the salt, then very lightly I filled in with a light flesh toned acrylic and he came alive. The salt produces a very interesting effect, as you can see. I used the large granules of kosher table salt but regular table salt can be used and will give off a different effect.
