Ravens Cliff Falls near Helen Georgia is absolutely gorgeous. The trail head starts at a mountain meadow and wanders along a small mountain stream formed by Dodd Creek. The waterfall and creek are within the Raven Cliffs Wilderness of the Chattahoochee National Forest. The creek is known as one of the most beautiful in northern Georgia. Raven Cliff Falls is one of four popular waterfalls in the Forest near Helen, Georgia. We hiked the trail in the autumn, mid-October, when the leaves were at peak. This image shows one of the loveliest cascades along the trail as we hiked up toward the huge tall waterfalls of Ravens Cliffs. Misty sunlight danced over the cascading waters with pools formed in the shallow crevices of granite rock...A full second of exposure time gives the look of silk to the rushing water and a bridal veil appearance to the lacy water in the pool...
