Nafplio Peninsula Sepia
Nafplio is a city on the Argolic Gulf in the northeastern portion of the Peloponnese in Greece. It is on a peninsula that juts out into the gulf and is surrounded by beautiful blue water. Acronauplia (or Acronafplia) is the old part of town that is mainly on the peninsula. There are very old fortifications out on Acronafplia.
From the Palamidi Fortress above the town you can get a great view of the peninsula and the ruins on the peninsula. This photo shows the peninsula and the Argolic Gulf and the castle of Bourtzi.
