Description:

A portrait of my daughter Natasha. This was an experiment using oil pastels on black pastel paper with a strong texture. I used a large range of colours and enjoyed blending some of them together to get the desired effect, otherwise I worked with quick, spontaneous strokes. It made a nice change from soft pastels.
