Description:

Based upon the Infancy Narrative of St. Luke the Evangelist, this icon shows the story of the Birth of the Savior and all the events before and after. From the announcement of the angels to the shepherds to the bewilderment of St. Joseph to the arrival of the Magi to the laying of the Child in the Manger, this icon is a beautiful meditation on the Incarnation of God's Word both at Christmas and the year round.
