Nava Durga Chandraghanta

In Hindu mythology, Chandraghanta is one of the nine forms of Goddess Durga. She is worshiped on the third night of Navratri festival. She wears bell shaped crescent moon on Her head hence the name Chandraghanta (Chandra- moon, Ghanta- bell).
पिण्डजप्रवरारुढ़ा चण्डकोपास्त्रकैर्युता |
प्रसादं तुनते मह्यं चन्द्रघण्टेति विश्रुता ||
May that Durga Devi, who rides on Garuda, the king of the birds, who is endowed with intense anger and violence and is renowned by the name of Chandraghanta, bestow her grace on me.
