It is a nice surprise of a painting, Pratyasha! At first it looked like something so peaceful and sweet...then you notice that the mother and baby are in a tiger's mouth! I like this. f/v

Thank you AnnaJo. I am glad you liked it. Actually they are not in a tiger's mouth but are sitting on a Ice Throne that resembles a Lion. The description of the Goddess Skandamata we find in the scriptures describe her as "Simha-aasana-gataa-nitya". Simha=Lion, Aasana= Throne Gataa- Sitting Nitya-eternally. So, she is described as being eternally seated on a Lion Throne. I have uploaded the full description now.
