Ann, inspirational words and images...great art touches the heart...this surely touches each person fortunate enough to view it...

This gorgeous photograph has deep resonance for me -- after all, I grew up in candlelight in a remote cabin in the wild foothills of Wyoming. It evokes the rich beauty and warmth of those times, but also the severe struggles and hardships that I was too young then to fully understand that my parents were going through. As I linger over this image, though, it's the hope and love that win out!
