Thank you ROMAN. No doubt, many honorable and dedicated monks have done wonderful work - but In light of the many phadophile and other sexual abuse offences by the clergy, and how they are hidden away, I take a very dim view of organised religions.

It is not easy to comment a painting which Jane had commented just before, ..and the same applies to her wonderful paintings ..but I like this one intuitively .., makes me curious, ..and its not only the perfect arrangement of light and shade in this great work Hartmut ... L/F

Hello Hartmut! This is a secretive,prayerful,sacred, stilling and truly beautiful graphite pencil drawing !! I'm not going to be too wary of their business despite your warning! I trust them completely! I live in the grounds of an ancient abbey and I love the sense of peace that those monks truly dedicated to the spirit of the monastic tradition have passed down throughout the centuries.This is such illuminating work as I have come to expect from you!! And,I must add, I am never disappointed! L/F
