After dark the traffic on Houstonís METRO Rail system changes from professionals coming in and out of downtown traveling between the urban core and Texas Medical Center to young people going downtown for an event at the Toyota Center or for dinner. There is a block long fountain between the north and south bound platforms of Main Street Square station that the trains pass over, reflecting in its pools. As this train rushes southwards through the night headed for the TMC and Reliant Stadium leaving behind these orange and white rays of light. Houston is actively expanding its light rail system in order to better provide for all Houstonians while improving traffic and their environmental impact, making Houston a more livable city.
