Hi Brian, love those yes.......they look like headlights. Great combination with the blue and the dark colours. The other thing is he (or she) doesn't look aggressive, but very soft and friendly. I like that!

Great painting! I wonder how did you come to the idea to underline “the night vision of the cat’s eyes” with these particularly colors? If I tried to do the same, I’d probably make it in a more usual way, as everybody can see it – green eyes in darkness. And now I see that your way works much better – it is a real night vision. From this point of view it doesn’t matter weather this picture is absolutely correct and true to nature or a bit fantastic, because this image is even more eloquent, then the Nature itself. And this particularly combination of colors is also very attractive and decorative. One should have a real talent to invent such ideas and to use them in paintings so flawlessly. Congratulations!!!
