Nighthawk Ghost Town Hotel - Washington State
Built in 1903, the Nighthawk Hotel was a place where miners could rent a room, get a hot meal, and entertain themselves. It supported many paying customers when the mines were running full tilt. But, they played out eventually, the miners left for other gold strikes, and the town of Nighthawk faded into history. It is located in northen Washington State in Okanogan County near the Canadian border.
