Wow!!! Your artwork on trains says so much. And your work is really great. Your use of color is so rrealistic and at the same time subjective. I really like it. I just started drawing againabout a year and a half ago and I'm not ready for color yet. I really prefer black and white with pencil. I'm lookingforward to more os your work.

Thanks for the comment, Toni. In answer to your question: I think the key for me is values. I tend to use the full range of values in my paintings, from dark to light, along with some complimentary color to help. (Of course, I have a friend who paints high-key paintings with hardly any dark values, and they're beautiful, too.)
