Oh, so mysterious, oh so beautiful, oh so haunting. "Nobody is home, but the ghosts of the past that dwell within, for only they know the story to tell."

Lois Bryan replied:

Thank you, Charles ... love the way you described it!!!! I have to confess, I didn't have the nerve to go inside to check out the ghosts!!!!

Lois, certainly a mysterious and beautiful composition. Great capture and treatment to create an even more forlorn feeling! voted

Lois Bryan replied:

Marie, huge thanks!!!!! So happy you enjoyed this one ... I really went a little "out there" with the post work, but what fun!!!!!!!

Well, let me add my little bit to the praise you are rightly being given for this wonderful work. You've done such a beautiful job in the whole process. The effects are just over the top good, and make a really nice photograph into a really nice piece of art. Thanks for putting it in Abandoned and Forlorn. It's wonderful. I find it a little amazing and curious that a work of this quality can be viewed 330 (at this point), and only voted on 7 times. That's pretty doggone sad to my way of thinking. f/v

Lois Bryan replied:

Don, thank you so much for your wonderful comment!!!! I appreciate it very much!!! This one has been on FAA for a pretty long time ... I kind of forgot about it, lol!!!! It's possible that when i first uploaded it the voting thing wasn't even being done!!! Very happy you enjoyed it and thank you again for your words of support!!!!!

Wow... I love all the galleries. What great framing with the subject matter in this one!!!

Thanks so much, Laurie ... this old house really captured my imagination ... but I was too chicken to go inside!!!!!

Great effect on this piece, Lois! Bravo! Thanks for your comment on my "Knocking on Heavens Door"!

Beautifully done Lois.. I love the way you have surrounded it in darkness and roughed up the image to create the aged affect of the run down farm house.. I think your work is great!! ( btw.. thanks for your comments on my painting)
