North American Nobility Whitetail Deer
Drawing - Graphite Pencil
I wanted to depict a mature buck in a heavy rack and neck. The season would be late autumn during the rut when they are competing for access to the does as they come in season. And then I also wanted to show a "family" group with the buck, doe and a fawn as you might typically see. The name Whitetail comes from their raising their tail showing the white underside when fleeing danger.
