No, this is not Antelope Canyon. Deep within Escalante are innumerable slot canyons. Some slots are skinny, others wide. Some are deep, and some are shallow. This particular canyon is considered *open*, but this section is deeper, permitting the darker hues to broadcast themselves throughout the bottom of the canyon. Thanks to Dustin LeFevre for joining me on this expedition, and in particular for hanging out at this site for nearly half and hour so I could concentrate on capturing this very shot.
Surprisingly enough, this shot is de-saturated. Yes, I said de-saturated. There was also some hue adjustment (because the original looked too pink to me).
