Description:

This piece is using oil pencils directly applied to poplar plywood sized at 11 by 14 inches. It is currently framed without matting because the poplar is the matting. After working the colored pencils into the wood it has three layers of clear spray laquer ontop to preserve and enhance the colors. This is the first version of an illustration for a story about pioneers for a short story in my friend's book. It was not chosen for the book so it is up for sale.
