Description:

This location could be anywhere, but it is in the woods of Ebey's Landing National Historic Reserve. I'm looking out toward the Strait of Juan de Fuca and beyond, the Pacific Ocean. That's where this fog is coming from. Looking at the painting, I think it also says something about the young (trees) gathering nourishment from the old (dead branches). That's a definition of history as well as mentors.
