Description:

On a vitally important day in my life, in October 1973, when I was 23 years old, my life was just hanging there by a tread. I didn't feel like hanging in there much longer either. I was alone, at my house, in my bedroom. I had always believed in God, since I was a child, but now I was really beginging to doubt everything that I had believed. Therefore I decided to pray. I prayed to Jesus saying, if you are real, Jesus, then come and live in my heart, I give my life to you. If it is even possible to express artistically on paper what I spiritually felt inside, after I prayed, then this picture is my weak attempt to do so.
