Description:
This classical floral is painted from life. The flowers were picked in late October. The Indian Paintbrush and Sunflowers depicted were among the last remaining wildflowers in the Central Oklahoma area at the time. The painting is executed in what I call a Nouveau Fresco technique. A painting technique I have developed which evokes the feel of a Fresco wall painting. The painting is executed in acrylic on a specially prepared panel with a plaster ground. The plaster ground is given a slight crackle which gives the work something of an antiqued and textural quality. The work is a signed, framed, original acrylic painting and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Price does not include shipping.
