( Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved ) In Spanish-speaking countries the word " Hacienda " is defined as a large estate, or the main dwelling on a plantation. But here by the Ohio River in downtown Rabbit Hash, the locals don't speak very much Spanish. The common language here is more of a Mid-West, Kentucky-Ana / Southern version of The King's English. Anyway, you can now spend the night in Rabbit Hash just across the street from the Famous General Store. It's almost like those fancy Bed & Breakfast places, except you'll have to cook your own breakfast at the .... Old Hashienda.
