On The Garden Path
Drawing - Charcoal And Colored Pencil On Canson 90lb Drawing Paper
The lone wolf traveling in search of food for her pups, maybe this is what On the Garden Path represents. Drawing wildlife in pastel pencil and charcoal is fairly new to me a transition from graphite pencil and charcoal to watercolor. When I was in Oregon walks in the forest were a daily activity which made it easy to draw the lone wolf trotting on a path through the trees easy to portray. As a wildlife artist and illustrator I have a great time creating a habitat for the wolf and sharing a day in this artists imagination.
My passion, when drawing and painting these creatures, is to capture their beauty and hope the song of the wolf will always be heard on the wind.
