On The Road Again
Photograph - Photography
This is the road to Haleakala Volcano, on the island of Maui. Haleakala means 'House of the Sun' and in Hawaiian folklore, is said to have housed the demigod Maui's grandmother in its depression at the summit...It rises up to over 10,000 ft. and temperatures can drop to 40F (5C)...Maui's grandmother could obviously handle the cold weather!
