So much character in those objects, and they tell their story so well! I love the satiny insole and how you kept it crumpled as you found it, and the way the stripes of the tie echo the striped umbrella. Even that slightest triangle of black in the lower right, it's all so well-composed. Great job, Naomi.

This piece one a 1st place at the Lake County California county fair.
*****************************************************************************
It was inspired by my finding a pair of black high heels (not mine) in the back seat of my car, after having loaned the car to my at the time nineteen year old son. Though I call it "One Night Stand", my husband calls it "Portrait of My Wife's Sick Mind". The couple in the foreground shoe just appeared there, I only accenuated them. This is one of my earliest pieces, and also one of my favorites.
