Need to add my "wow" to the chorus. :) Amazing concept and outstanding execution. It's been a while since art here has so engaged my mind, which is, for me, a non-painter, its most outstanding attribute. Just really, really, "good" art. Were I its creator, I might have to give up painting, because I don't know that I'd be able to stop patting myself on the back with my painting hand. ;-) v

Very cool. This painting is a success, not because it is simple, but because it is very sophisticated. The hula hoops are meticulously rendered as well as are the shadows and the light. The calligraphic strokes for the bicycle are very free and expressive. What a nice contrast! When you add the one way sign, it is doubly clever. I am impressed, and I thank you for creating this and sharing it with us.

There is no doubt that you can swing a brush...I feel that this piece is one of your best works. I think its because you get loose with the composition, and you seem to be showing us a fun side to your art. This "loosey goosey" approach is a wonderful expression and much more interesting to look at, for me. Your other works are rendered so tight at every square inch that I don't have a chance to use my own imagination within your work. Check out 2 guys that allow some of the canvas to be left to the imagination of the viewer: Frank Frazzeta and Bernie Fuchs...There are plenty more that use this technique, it may not be something you want to ever do...But I really believe this piece works the best visually because of that technique.... Thanks for the great images - keep painting
