Description:

This macro of the orchid Phalaenopsis was shot in a greenhouse and is one of my personal favourites. I particularly like the bird like face that you can see only from an angle. This feature is something that I have always wanted to capture but could not as the colors on these flowers don't always gel to make a good composition. However, this one clicked after many many futile attempts.
