Description:

China's tallest communications/obeseration tower, the Oriental Pearl, lies on the east bank of the Wang Pu River in Shanghai where it dominates the Contvneiton Center and other buildings on the river bank. Ships and barges are constantly passing by the structure which was built o rival Paris' Eiffel Tower as a city icon.
